FAQs

Is there a guarantee?

YES! You WILL get your certificate accepted and to the owner OR I will refund your entire fee for all pets on the certificate as long as:

  • In the consult, we determined we had enough time to get this pet exported.

  • You follow my timeline and treatment/test recommendations.

  • You properly upload all documents to VEHCs at least 4 business days before departure.

This guarantee does not apply if

  • Airline-specific requirements were not communicated at least 5 business days in advance of the appointment to issue the certificate

  • You do not follow my suggested schedule

  • You did not maintain your USDA accreditation

  • The USDA does not review your paperwork in 3 business days.

  • The certificate is lost in shipping.

How soon before travel do we need to consult?

That ultimately depends on your destination. For Hawaii, I recommend starting 6 months in advance. For most international certificates 3 months will suffice but that is not guaranteed (as a rule, islands take longer). Europen Union health certificates can usually be arranged in 40 days or less. However, it is never too early.

What can you expect from me?

  • Once contact is established (you have contacted me and I have responded), responses from me in one business day.

  • A detailed timeline of what is needed to get your client’s pet(s) abroad.

  • Track down previous records

  • Lists any treatments or tests the pet needs

  • Fill out the international health certificate in English with everything known before the final exam.

What do I need from the veterinarian?

  • Schedule and perform listed services at appointments for pets.

  • Digitally sign the international health certificate I send you AFTER the physical exam during the appropriate time period and upload a pdf of that certificate and other provided paperwork to VEHCs.***
